01.  Who am I?  Jesse of Neuro, Musician and Accountant.  

02.  Is Neuro "math rock", like Rush?  No.  IDK, actually.  Neuro is progressive rock, as of MIND ALTAR given this first and only album thus far has enough electric guitar to be dubbed "rock", as in "and roll".  I'm not going to venture into defining "math rock".  I love Rush, the band.  They were/are a band, a trio, now of legendary proportions, adored and panned by critics.  R.I.P. Neil Peart, the best drummer ever I.M.A.O.  Roger Taylor, Queen's drummer, happens to be the most prolific solo artist from Queen.  And so it's not heresy for me to note Neil Peart as "the best drummer" because he wasn't a singer, but he did write most of Rush's lyrics, I think, and the point being is that "math rock" must be contingent on counting, as in beats, like drummers with that sort of confounding precision.  I love "2112", or most of it.  But "Hemispheres" is my favorite, unless it's "Moving Pictures".  Or, better yet, because it has "Freewill"?  "Permanent Waves", as if they weren't particles, and as if ANYTHING is permanent.  

03.  Is Neuro goth rock?  4AD bands are often dubbed "goth" by passive voices.  I mean, is goth inherently creepy?  LOC (laugh out creepily). 4AD is a label, of course, that of Cocteau Twins, Pixies, St. Vincent and Grimes (not all currently so, especially if disbanded or on another label).  4AD has Grimes.  Tesla doesn't.  Oops, I meant … what's-his-name.  The Canadian $$ guy.  Kudos to him for naming his electric car line "Tesla".   Nikola Tesla rocks, present tense.  Grimes is Canadian.  Rush is Canadian.  Nikola? Croatian.  Einstein was German-born, best known for developing the theory of quantum musics.  No; wait.  The theory of relative keys?  E = minor c2.  (insert punch line).  

And so quantum physics is mind-blowing, as if Einstein wasn't.  Have you ever watched a particle turn into a wave?  Have you ever dug yourself into a hole?  In Space?  Outer space?  inner space.  pigs in space.  cricket blogs.  ...
