  1. Killer Martyr
Share

The most hard-driving, heavy, metallic track on the first album (guitarist Imkong Yaden's solo is killer).
And perhaps the most "offensive" track, it's sung as a "character". Written before 9/11, it was either prescient or mere coincidence (the song is tackling "religious" wars, such as the Crusades).

Lyrics

I am a killer martyr
I kill to “save” the sufferers
I’ve fallen prey to mortal gods of hate who plan my suicide

I’ll be canonized
For demanding and proclaiming all their criminal lies
Insanity preaching genocide
I’m corrupted by the power of the devil inside them . .

Chorus:

Chained; why am I broken, wired and maimed?
I only see chaos!
Spilling blood for their vile and hopeless claims
Born, born, born into sepulchral world reforms
Predatory psycho…
An early fate as food for worms

I am a killer martyr
I kill to “save” the sufferers
I’ve fallen prey to mortal gods of hate who plan my suicide:
Oh ah ha ha ha ha!

I am a killer martyr
I kill to “save” the sufferers
I’ve fallen prey to mortal gods of hate who plan my suicide

Chorus:

Chained; why am I broken, wired and maimed?
I only see chaos!
Spilling blood for their vile and hopeless claims
Born, born, born into sepulchral world reforms
Predatory psycho…
An early fate as food for worms

Outro:

Traitor, defiler, fall lower…
Curse my soul there’s nothing to defend
Curse their means, condemn their fascist ends
Ow! Bless the brave who dare through contraband
And bless the souls who cannot comprehend…

“. . . a unique blend of cosmic goth-rock and Pink Floyd-esque psych-rock freakouts with glammy Bowie-like theatrics along with thought-provoking and mind-altering lyrical themes for a genre-defiant sound that is truly all their own. ” -  J. Kreitzer, Allmusic
